At 37, most people know that Christopher Brian Bridges is an actor and a rapper – but he’s still better known by his nickname, Ludacris. He’s asked you what’s your fantasy, he’s started his own record company, he’s been in movies, and he’s a rapper turned actor who actually does a killer job in front of the camera (not something all rapper-actors can say for themselves). Ludacris albums have been released 8 times throughout his long career, which began with the release of his first album in 1999. It has been a long time, and we haven’t heard anything new from him in many years, but we know he’s working and making magic happen in many different aspects of his career. While we all know and love Luda as a rapper, it’s really some of his acting roles that have made him even more famous and well-received in the entertainment industry.
It might have been more than a decade since he starred in Crash, but people are still talking about his role. The movie is about racial tension in the city of Angels, and it’s one that really hit the spot. The movie featured and ensemble cast of some of the best and brightest stars in all of Hollywood, and it was a thrilling movie. Critics were blown away by Luda’s portrayal of Anthony, for which he was excellent.
Despite being a famous rapper and actor, Luda has managed to keep to himself as much as he can over the years, keeping his personal life as personal as one can when in the spotlight so often. While other singers and musicians are frequently in the limelight, on the cover of tabloids and otherwise always in the forefront of people’s minds, Luda has managed to stay mostly out of the spotlight so that he could focus on his own career.
